As the saying goes, Saturday is Auction day, and oh what a Saturday it was this past weekend for one of NextLot’s newest clients. With hundreds of bidders online and onsite and a great variety of clean farm and industrial equipment, prices were strong and the Internet presence helped make it one of the best auctions of the year. Online bidders helped prices at the auction increase by 12.7%, which is over $212,000. An impressive 52% of auction inventory sold to users online, making the auction a huge success for Team Sekura Auctions.
Highlights from the auction include some very nice trucks and trailers that sold to bidders online. They include:
2014 Kenworth T-800 Tri-Drive Winch Truck for $230,000
2014 Peterbilt 378 Tri-Drive Sleeper Truck for $125,000
2014 Lode King 40 Ton Scissor Neck Tri Axle Trailer for $65,000
Discounting the real estate, four of the five most expensive items sold to bidders online, several of which were contested by multiple competing online bidders. This stress-free and simple process of bidding online with NextLot helped make this auction such a success.
