September 18, 2017

NextLot’s mobile bidding compatibility continues to revolutionize the auction industry. This mobile bidding technology allows bidders access to more inventory in more locations right in the palm of their hand. In the last 30 days, over 63,000 bidders have downloaded a NextLot client’s privately branded mobile bidding app. These branded apps are available to bidders in both the Apple and Google Play store and are compatible across all Apple and Android devices. This flexibility allows bidders the luxury to bid online no matter where they are.

At a recent Canadian heavy equipment auction, 45% of online bidders participated via a mobile device. In addition to the increase in mobile participation, the auctioneer also saw a 40% increase in their app downloads in the last 30 days. Overall, bidders contributed $500,000 in purchases and bid on 70% of the auction inventory. Bidders now have a solution to bid on any smartphone, tablet or desktop which is why auctioneers who partner with NextLot see astounding results.
