Antiquorum Genève S.A sees Impressive Online Results with NextLot
NextLot Inc., a Raleigh, NC based software company known for its innovative online bidding technology, understands that first impressions can really make or break if users will return to an auctioneer’s next auction. Recently NextLot began working with Antiquorum Genève S.A, a Geneva, Switzerland based watch auctioneer. With auctions coming up this year in Monaco, Hong Kong and Geneva, an international bidder base was required for success, and an international bidder base and a great first impression was what NextLot provided.
With approximately 7.5 million Swiss Francs in inventory in their most recent auction, online bidders contributed online bids on almost 50% of the items in the auction, helping push prices by over one million Swiss Francs. A highlighted item sold online to a bidder all the way from Japan for 85,000 Swiss Francs. To date, over 240 units were downloaded and used on mobile devices. The mobile apps have live streaming audio and video, giving users a bidding experience as if they are actually at the auction.
